Although we are in the middle of winter, and February is close, Naples can warm up just with a sunbeam.

Walking in the alleys of this beautiful city, made with eternal magic end vivid tradition, can fill up your expectation like no one.

Naples is only like few in the World. You are walking across Montesanto, a beautiful and picturesque market, nice smell of bakery rich of fresh products, freshly prepared.

Arrive in Piazza del Gesu in the blink of an eye, this is the centre of alternatively nightlife, rich of young and not so young people.

This is not the nightlife of rich place, but of revolutionary people, rich in Filosofy without enough money, these people are here like in the past was for Giordano Bruno, or Gaetano Filangieri (This man inspired the American Constitution).

TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY – BEGINNERS GUIDE

Naples is only like few in the World.

You are walking across Montesanto, a beautiful and picturesque market, nice smell of bakery rich of fresh products, freshly prepared.

It’s a really small street which once you have been walking through you will arrive in the main square “Via Toledo”.

Two parallel and beautiful roads, the first that brings you in college centre, and the top one is of San Gregorio Armeno, make the backbone of the historic centre of Naples, the most extended in the World.

Spacca Napoli divides the city into two parts, upper and lower, this is the middle of everything. “Spacca” in Italian is broke.

This is the place where is collocate the famous alley of San Gregorio Armeno, known as the road of the shepherds and the Nativity.

But Spacca Napoli is not just known for this, but also for the many famous pizzerias throughout the world, like Gino Sorbillo, Il Presidente and De Matteo (ah the “frittatina” of De Matteo, what a pleasure!).

You can lose yourself in these streets, the magic of the historical re-enactment, the pictures of Maradona still imprinted on historic walls, puffins everywhere, the sacred and the profane which clash with the modern.

Naples is not only an ancient city but definitely one who dresses as a modern with a thousand contradictions not all negative.

You can find so magic in the food, in the eyes of the people, the history in every stone you walk on. Here you can find everything, summer and winter holidays, daily or simple weekend.

When you see Napoli can really say that “I have seen all the world”, and your travel can be rich of adventures, but really on a budget.
