Positano, the small jewel of Amalfi Coast, close to Naples.

by admin

We will suggest you how can afford the jewels of the Amalfi Coast on a budget. Positano is a small place in the middle of Amalfi’s coast, for a lot of people is a little treasure. There is a lot of people talking positively about this place and a plenty literature about this paradise.

If you get in Napoli, in South Italy, you need to visit this place, for Art, music, food and not at last for beautiful sea.
Positano is not too far from Naples, but you need to bear in your mind if you want to meet the paradise, that takes time.
So, Positano is just 1 hour and 30 minutes away from Naples, for get here you need to take at least one train (Vesuviana) and then a Bus. This is a good way, you can have a look at the coast and if you find a good place between the rocks, you can get out of the bus and find adventurous places.
If you rent a car for your holiday in Campania, you can get there with Highway.

Positano is a really beautiful place where spend your holiday. Also, always there is some gallery with portrait, photography, pictures. A lot of artists were inspired by this sea town. You can get lost in the ancient street, rich in the traditional little shop.

This place is a little bit expensive, is not, really, a cheap and on the budget place. So, if you will get here, you need to bear in your mind, this is an expensive trip. Generally, the Hotels cost 100£ for the night (Booking.com), cheap solution is good, but are always busy and not available, you need to book it a lot of time before. You can try to find some cheap solution with Air BnB, there are a lot of good solution, but have a look at the distance you are. In fact, Positano is on the Rock, if you get really away from the beach or town centre, you need a car.

You can find some solution for a Bed and Breakfast, where they offer the service to go and come back from the centre, always the name is “Navetta”. Also, you can find the chance to get close to the Manager or Owner of the place where you can stay and find a good solution. Many places are a Family business, so it’s really simple to find all the people living close to your room, or bungalows, are really welcome and help you. If you want another cheap solution, not too far from Positano centre, you can stay in Sorrento, just 20 minutes away, with all sort of bus available to get you there.

The beach of Positano is small but is rich in charm, all around a lot of restaurants, on the top of you can find all sort of bar. I can advise you to eat at the “Tre Sorelle” it’s an amazing place and the food is really well prepared. On the side of the beach, there is a Night Club “Music on the Rock”, you can get here for some fun night, you don’t need to be young.

On the beach you can rent all kind of water sports, also you can rent a small boat for a good price and visit the insight all around, there are a lot of little islands, cavern, creeks and hidden beaches where you can get inside, swim and take pleasure of your trip. Also, from Positano Port, you can get a boat (Traghetto) to go to the main islands of the Bay. You can get to Capri in only two hours and the ticket is not expensive.
