Ibiza best hidden beaches, not just for summer.

If you are looking for the right summer spot, with water sport activities, lively nightlife, we guess you are thinking about Ibiza. This is the list of the best beaches in Ibiza. Don’t take this list to serious and consider those locations also for a Spring Break in Ibiza or a night club closing vacation to Ibiza.

Being an Island is meaning to have sea all around, but not many islands have the concentration of beautiful beaches like Ibiza. This Island is pretty wild, getting you in touch with nature and surrounding. The high cliffs of Ibiza can sometimes hide gorgeous places and amazing beaches.

The plan of our latest trip to Ibiza was to prove that the Island is not just the right location for travellers addict to the night life, but also for a couple which want relax, beach and sun associate with parties at night.

Beach in San Antonio - Best places to take pictures in San Antonio
The Beach on the seaside of San Antonio is for sure one of the best places to take pictures in San Antonio

We enjoyed our rest in the thousand hidden beaches along the coast. We were in most of them because we lost the right way, or because Toti likes to get lost and find magic places. I don’t know how but always when we get lost, we put our sense of orientation and et voilà, we find hide and beautiful natural beach.

We rented a car in Ibiza, that gives us the chance to visit almost all the Island. In less than one week we made more than 1K kilometres. From north to south, east to west, Ibiza is always nice and beautiful. No matter if you’re leaving behind a sunset or are expecting a rise up, you always remain surprised by the natural beauty of this island.

That’s why we are thinking this is a trip also for a couple and not just for friends. I get some advice from a local amazing website and some online review, I was visiting it and now I can give my personal opinion about all of them. If you want a first look, you can follow my same way on white-ibiza.com.

CALA COMTE

Cala Comte Ibiza

Should be one of most famous, but not for it doesn’t take place into the chart of the best hidden beaches. Is one of the best, also to wait for the sunset and relax in a crystalline water.

I think I will never be in a place with sea water sheer like this. You see the fish around you and all the submarine habitat don’t care at all about you. All the sunshine is surrounded by a magnificent scenario. I don’t know yet how is to swim to the Bahamas or in Caribbean sea, but I think it is more close to it, despite is in the Mediterranean sea.

You can find simply car parking and also there are two parts of this “Cala”, the first in front of an Island and another to the seaport, in the part in front of Island there are some bars, where you can enjoy your stay or have fresh drinks.

CALA BENIRRAS

Ibiza Spain Travel italian trip abroad (64 of 86)

This is in the north-west of Island, like all this part almost all are remain natural and in respect of old fashion indigenous. Ibiza, especially during the golden age across 1980 and 2000, was completely rebuilt to take advantage of unbridled tourism. Was one of the free Island in the World and a lot of people went here for having fun. Cala Benirras seems to have been back in time. Uncontaminated nature and the hippy taste that remains intact in its soul.

CALA BASSA

Ibiza best hidden beaches – Italian Trip Abroad

I left here a part of my heart for a spectacular day spent here for my 30th birthday, this gets for sure in the best hidden beaches of Ibiza. Is a long and big beach surrounded by green wood behind. You can enjoy the golden sand and crystalline water. Also on the side, there is a rock formation on the sea, with a height of about 3 meters, making it ideal to plunge and spectacular diving.

It’s nature abounds, the beach is very small and there are just a couple of accommodation, which make it the perfect place for who don’t want to be surrounded by young clubber looking for fun. The water is amazingly clean, turquoise clear. Is not too far from San Antonio and there are so many road signs for going there. This place is usually chosen by Spanish family of Ibiza, where stay calm relaxed with a bit of privacy.

Tips: Go over the car parking, for 5 minutes up and down of the way on the coast and don’t scare about that. After the wood, you start to enjoy the landscape and see the sea. In a point you find a small free parking area surrounded of rocks and on the side overhanging (Don’t scare, again). Leave the car and go down of the mountain, are just 5 minutes and the hiking is too easy (Ale did it with the flip-flops). We putted our beach towels on the rock, close to the sea, with one hand we can touch it. It qas our first swim in the Ibiza’s water, and was so incredible adventure to arrive here and find this enchanting place.

LAS SALINAS

We stayed no far from this place. This is the end of protecting the natural park of Las Salinas. Is a long, long beach.  All over there are bars and clubs where you can enjoy some drink and have the opportunityThere are a lot of families, and how we understand here is the place where the old clubbers are coming now with their family for enjoying an old piece of Ibiza, out of classic Playa d’en Bossa fully of new young clubbers.

Ibiza is a really nice place where to spend your holiday time and if you love the Spanish cities you might be interested in Discovering Seville.
