Our desert safari ended at the Beduin camp with a special encounter with a Camel - Best Insatgram spots in Dubai
Meet the camels in Dubai

Dubai desert safari and camel ride

Although we aim to prioritise sustainability and steer clear of tourist activities that exploit animals, it’s hard to deny that riding a camel could be an enjoyable experience. Nevertheless, it’s important to be truthful and admit that we didn’t go for it while on the desert safari. We just spend some time with the camels, hugging them and actually receiving a kiss.

During our Desert Safari experience in Dubai, we saw Bedouins riding through the Desert; we felt it was standard transportation for locals in such remote areas.

Going on the Platinum Heritage tour, we learned that the animals don’t suffer from that, and they ethically use camels. Check this tour if you still want to embark on a timeless voyage atop a camel, the traditional mode of transport across the Desert.

Hot Air Balloon Ride in the Desert

This experience has been on our bucket list since we were in Turkey and close to going to Cappadocia. It will surely be an unforgettable journey, apart from taking serious unique photos that stand in the crowded social media showcase of the best pictures of Dubai. Well, it doesn’t come cheap, so better to book in advance your hot air balloon ride in the desert of Dubai.
