Cherry blossoms in Paris typically run from the beginning of March till the end of April. The full bloom emerges between the end of March and April, depending on seasonal changes. For instance, cherry blossom in Greenwich can happen late like it did in 2020 and 2021.

Tuileries Gardens

In the proximity of the Louvre Museum, there are the Tuileries gardens. Paris’ awesome cherry blossoms can be found in this part of the city. The Latin Quarter is definitely one of the most exciting arrondissements of Paris. The whole district is beautiful and worth visiting all year round. However, the Latin Quarter in spring become even more fascinating.

Unfortunately, due to the fire that happened in 2019, Square Jean XXIII is currently closed, but this doesn’t mean that it has lost its reputation as one of the best viewing spots for cherry blossom in Paris.

Notre Dame threes go in bloom a bit later than other Paris locations, head to this spot around the first/second week of April. Cherry blossoms at Notre Dame is an unmissable spot on the list of places to see in Paris in spring.

Parc Georges Brassens is situated in the 15e arrondissement and at its inside hosts the Clos des Morillons, a hidden vineyard in the core of Paris. The park is named after a notable person, Brassens, a poet and famous singer. The walk in the park will take you to a fairytale surrounding full of flowers, pink blooms and delicate scents.

We are in the Vincennes neighbourhood, in the 17th Arrondissement, not far away from the Arc de Triomphe.

Early bird gets the best spot, and this is a universal rule and is not different for Rue Villebois Mareuil. So snap your best photos of Paris in bloom through the most beautiful avenue in the French Capital.

Best Metro stations to admire cherry blossoms in Paris

Metro Saint Paul: From the end of March to the beginning of April, you will be able to witness the beautiful cherry blossom with a stunning Parisian facade outside Saint Paul Metro Station.

Metro Falguière: Calling all photography lovers, here is the perfect spot for you. Cherry blossom trees with authentic Parisian buildings and the metro station behind, this is the right place for you. As you step outside Metro Falguière, you will notice a dusting of pink on the stairwell. This means that you got there at the right time to admire the gorgeous cherry blossoms in Paris.

Metro Cambronne: Blooming in early April, the pink cherry blossom trees around Place Cambronne are another spot you can’t miss. Just across the road from Cambronne metro station, you’ll find Place Cambronne, where you can witness some incredible cherry blossom trees.

This might be the favourite part of this post when we give our personal suggestions about photography. Definitely, we love the bokeh effect in spring, taking the subject in focus with a blurry background. However, to have the best of this effect, we suggest dressing with dark colour, opposite to the regular blossoms.

Keep a low ISO to enhance details and get the best of the lights. Then, play around with your camera and have fun.
