We sat early in the morning to avoid crowds and make time to Atuh Beach to enjoy the beach, almost all for ourselves. Well, it wasn’t different than planned. The roads are uneven, and with local tour guides driving confidently, you must stop now and then to rest. The roads are very dangerous, and we were more cautious than rushing to reach the place. Hike down to Atuh Beach
To get to the secret paradise of Atuh Beach Nusa Penida Bali, you’ll need to take a quick hike down some stairs (178 steps, I have counted all in one go on the way back up! Gosh!) that weave through a dense jungle. This exciting descent gives you a glimpse of the unspoiled natural beauty that awaits you, with scenic points and well-worth photo spots. Even though the way down is easy, the steps are uneven and not level, which makes it difficult on the way back up. Unlike Kelingking beach and Diamond Beach, Atuh bay is more accessible.
Get to Nusa Penida on your own
If you’re planning to travel to Atuh Beach from Bali on your own, it’s still feasible. You can take a speedboat from Sanur Padang Bai port in Bali and reach the lush, green island in 30 to 45 minutes. You can book your ferry ticket beforehand through the provided link.

How much is the entrance to Atuh Beach Bali?
The entrance to the area is 10K, which includes access to Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach combined. Also, you need to account for another 5K to park your scooter and 10K if you have a car. However, if you are up for an adventure, you can go on the left side of the beach looking at the sea. Passing through the cliff jungles, you can park uphill and avoid the fee.
